About Tallinna Tehnikakõrgkool/TTK UAS
TTK University of Applied Sciences is founded in 1915. Through the years there have always been two core specialties: construction and mechanical engineering. In 2006 a new structural unit, The Faculty of Clothing and Textile, was formed. The studies in the faculty focus on two areas of specialization: Technical Design and Technology of Apparel and Resource Management of Clothing and Textiles. We prepare specialists for sewing companies and textile industry, training professionals who make us feel beautiful and comfortable in our clothes.
During their studies, students can be involved in applied research in the faculty´s well equipped laboratories and complete their engineering internships in sewing, textile and merchandizing companies. The studies are brightened with various events and fashion shows. In every spring semester, a fashion competition for engineering students, Tallinn Engineers`Fashion Show, is held in Tallinn.
